What's Inside My Makeup Pouch: L'Oreal Paris City Essential

This month's edition of what's inside my makeup pouch is all from L'Oreal Paris. These past few days, I've been trying to bring one brand only products in my makeup pouch. Why? Just out of curiosity actually. And my first experiment is L'Oreal Paris. Check out how was it.
So, I put 6 L'Oreal Paris items in my makeup pouch and carry it for the past 7 days. Here are some quick review of the products.

1. L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Instant White

Claim to protect skin from the negative effects of UV rays (SPF 50/PA+++), this sunscreen also promises instant fairness.

For the UV protection, featuring ingredients are Mexoryl SX/XL Filters and Vitamin CG, while the instant fairness is the result of Rosy Pearlescent Texture.

My Review:

I love the packaging, it's so compact and perfect for on the go and it doesn't eat up so many spaces in my makeup pouch. Twist cap makes it even easier to use. Bravo for the packaging.

As for the promises, I can say that I love the texture, it's not too runny or too creamy, just right. The fragrance is subtle and doesn't bother my sensitive nose. And for instant whitening, yep, it gives right amount of whitening effect. It won't leave you white cast or 'pektay' so I think brightening suits better for this product.

After wearing it for 5 hours, only my T-zone get so oily. The U-zone is just fine.

Price is around Rp 110.100, and I think it will last around 2-3 months. Worth buying.

2. L'Oreal Paris True Match BB Cream

Claims to give coverage like foundation and protection like skin care. It contains Hyaluronic acid and Glycerin so skin stays moist underneath this BB cream. Same with the UV Perfect Instant White, it contains Vitamin CG to even the skin tone and also cover the dark spots.

My Review:

I got the Ivory shade and it fits my skin tone perfectly. It evens out my skin tone and also gives flawless finish. Unfortunately I kinda dislike the texture, it's just too runny. When I open the cap, it's everywhere already. Such a mess. And on the other side, the staying power is not satisfying. After 2 hours of wearing it, my face is very oily. Note that it's not only my T-zone, but my whole face.

So, I don't really recommend this BB cream for oily and combination skin.

3. L'Oreal Paris Super-Blendable Concealer

As seen on my 2014 Beauty Awards for Makeup, this concealer is just good both in terms of quality and price. A must-have concealer! It almost runs out after I used it for 4 months. For that length of time, Rp 115.000 won't hurt your wallet, ladies.

4. L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All-in-One Powder

This all-in-one powder promises 12-hour matte look, foundation-like coverage, and lightweight feeling throughout the day.

My Review:

This product does the job well, though it's not up to 12-hour matte look (only 5-hour to me), I love how it stays on my face, making it matte and not oily even when I have to spend time under the sun.

The packaging is nice too, it has separated container for powder and sponge, also the color is both elegant and cute.

5. L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick Moist Matte

The shade is Flaming Kiss, it's warm-undertone mat lipstick which instantly brightens up my complexion the moment.

Here's my look rockin' this lipstick. Note that I only wear BB Cream, Eyeliner, and DA LIPSTICK! Always love red lipstick and this lipstick is my holy grail matte lipstick at the moment!

6. L'Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Lip Tint

I can't never resist lip tint/ lip stain. And so does with this lip tint by L'Oreal Paris. The formula contains 35% water in order to gives glossy and long-lasting result.

Don't be afraid to get your lips dried or chapped cause this lip tint contains 60% oil to moisturize your lips. The applicator makes it easier to apply the lip tint perfectly on the lips.

So that's my quick review about inside my makeup pouch featuring all L'Oreal Paris products. Is there any of the products that you're using? Tell me in the comments!
