A Day with Julie's Biscuit

Anyone ever heard about Julie's biscuit? Actually it was my first time with Julie's when I attended the media & blogger gathering with Julie's Biscuit.

A Day with Julie's was attended by Martin Ang; Perfect Food Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd Director, Herman Sulina; Marketing Director of PT DIMA Indonesia (national distributor for Julie’s Biscuit in Indonesia), and Rianti Cartwright; Julie's brand ambassador and loyal customer.

About Julie's

A brief history about Julie's, it was first started in Malaysia in 1981 with the distinctive logo of smiling blonde girl with braided hair. Julie's is literally everywhere from small shops to hypermarket and is available in around 70 countries in the world!

But, what makes Julie's so special and different with other biscuits? As told by Mr. Martin, Julie's does not only taste good, but also nutritious. Julie's uses only the best ingredients, uses no preservatives and artificial colourant in all of its products. And even better news is that Julie's is low in calorie, making it safe, healthy, and good for (my) diet!

We also watched a brief video showing how Julie's gives back to society and I can clearly see that Julie's is definitely the right choice when it comes to biscuit. It tastes good and it makes us feel good because it's healthy and the company who produces it gives back to society.

Back to the biscuit, during the media gathering, Julie's highlighted two of their products; Julie's Peanut Butter Sandwich and Julie's Hershey's.

Julie's Peanut Butter Sandwich

This is the most popular and best-selling products from Julie's. With the creamy, gold packaging, Julie's Peanut Butter Sandwich is available with special peanut butter filling which is low in calorie! Moreover, I love the idea of the individual packaging, which makes it even easier to eat it anytime.

I am actually not a big fan of peanut butter, but Julie's Peanut Butter Sandwich does taste better that any other peanut butter sandwich I've ever had. It's not too much and not too 'peanut' which most of the time making me sick. It does taste better!

Julie's Hershey's

At first, I couldn't believe this. Yes, one of the latest innovation by Julie's is to collaborate with Hershey's (The Hershey Company); as one of the oldest chocolate company in the world. Julie's is selected by Hershey's for the latest collaboration and it's already launched in Malaysia.

The result is six variants of Julie's Hershey's biscuits and it's available here as well! This collaboration is certainly a great innovation as it gives us as the consumer, more choices in tastes!

There are two testers available at the gathering:

1. Julie's Hershey's Chocolate Chip Hazelnut Cookies

This one is definitely my favorite! The taste is just RIGHT. It has the perfect combination of dough and chocolate chip, plus hazelnut! It's not too sweet, nor too bland. I was lucky to receive this variant in my goodie bag as well. I love it and definitely will purchase it for my daily snack!

2. Julie's Hershey's Chocolate Fudge Cookies

This one I believe is dedicated to chocolate lovers. It's sooo chocolate! Both the biscuit and fillling are all chocolate. Thankfully it's dark chocolate, so it's not that sweet as well. Which is perfect for me and won't make me sick because of the sweetness.

If you love chocolate, make sure you won't miss this biscuit!

Thank you very much Julie's biscuit for the great gathering, plus great taste of biscuits! I will surely become a loyal customer of yours :)
