Banyak banget salah kaprah tentang pelembap, terutama anggapan bahwa kulit berminyak dan cuaca kita yang lembap (humid) ini bikin kita gak perlu pakai pelembap. Hmmm, mitos ini salah banget, karena semua jenis kulit butuh pelembap lho! Yang penting, jenis pelembapnya disesuaikan dengan jenis kulit. 

CURHAT: Masalah Kulit dan Rambut yang Sedang Aku Hadapi

Hola! Kalau biasanya kamu sering baca blogku tentang product review, baik makeup, skin care, sampai produk rambut, kali ini aku mau sedikit curhat tentang kondisi kulit dan rambutku saat ini.

Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kondisi kulit dan rambutku saat ini, mulai dari pertambahan usia, gaya hidup (pola makan dan tidur), serta penggunaan makeup dan proses kimia pada rambut.

REVIEW AVENE TOLERANCE EXTREME CLEANSING LOTION & CREAM

Baru kemarin aku share tentang produk skin care terbaru dari Avene, sekarang aku mau share lagi nih produk lainnya yang gak kalah oke; Avene Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion dan Cream.

KICHO SHEEP OIL CREAM

For those of you who's been a loyal reader of mine, you must have already known that I have combination skin (where my U-zone is dry and dehydrated). And in this land of hot and humid climate, finding the right moisturizer is just, hard. Let it too 'rich' then will got breakouts. Oh, life. *LOL*

I've been sooo curious with this cream because I saw it a lot on my instagram feed and Lele once reviewed it on her blog saying this cream is good. It was quite expensive (58,000 KRW) and I am so lucky to receive it in February's BNT Box! Super thanks!!!

Though this cream is given for review purpose, trust me I'm delivering honest review for ya.

As some of you are already aware of, I love to try new skin care, and this time I'd like to share about my experience with Cetaphil.

Cetaphil has a long and proven record of providing skincare solutions with strong dermatological and medical heritage.

The iconic Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser was founded by a pharmacist in 1947 and was the first skincare product formulated by dermatologists as a stand-alone skin care product gentle enough for all skin types. Cetaphil is the skincare brand recommended by dermatologists.

REVIEW: Dermacept RX

Back with another skin care review, now I would like to share to you about Dermacept RX. Have you ever heard about it? As for me, I've heard about it around 1-2 years ago from Japan Beauty Week exhibition. It's a dermaceutical brand from Rohto (now you know it, right?).

Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Foam & Whitening Day Care

Hello lovelies! 

This time I'd like to share to you about my experience using these two products fron Nivea; Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Foam and Whitening Day Care.

*Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Foam*

This foam is formulated specially for Asian women's skin. It contains White Pure Actives to help brightens up the skin and White Crystallites to create more radiance to your bright skin. It cleans your skin without removing natural moisture from your skin.

I've been using this for around 2 weeks and I love this foam! It doesn't leave my skin tightened up after washing my face. The fragrance is soft and nice too. For the brightening effect, well it somehow brightens up my complexion, though it's not that significant.

For a consumer product, this foam left me impressed as it does its job great.

*Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Day Care*

This cream works on the skin surface and deeper layer to help brighten up your complexion. It contains the combination of White Crystallites and White Pure Actives to brighten up the skin. Moreover it also contains Carnitine to help preventing the excess production of oil and UVA/UVB to protect our skin from the bad of sun light.

I always use this right after washing my face with Nivea Visage Sparkling White Whitening Foam. The texture is between runny and creamy. The fragrance is too much for me. FYI, I have a very sensitive nose, so I prefer mild, soft-scented products. It will be better if the product is fragrance-free. But for those of you who have no problem with fragrance, I guess it will be okay.

Move on to the result. It gives me matte- finish which I have love-hate relationship towards it. On some occassions, the matte-finish looks great while others making me dull.

Talking about the UV protection claim, I suggest those who use this cream to wear sunscreen/ sunblock afterwards. This is because his product doesn't state any amount of SPF/PA on its product. So the level of protection might not be sufficient to protect our skin from the bad of sun light, especially judging from our lovely climate. Afer all, Indonesia is a tropical country with sun shine all year long. So don't forget to add sunscreen/ sunblock right after if you decide to use this day cream.

Both products don't cause me any breakouts nor any trouble to my skin (redness, itchiness, dry), so I am confidently saying thay these two products from Sparkling White line are recommended!
