Experiencing Sweet Chocolate at Johnny Andrean

Weeks ago,  I attended Johnny Andrean's event along with other beauty bloggers. Thanks to Mba Shinta, I can say I enjoyed the time being pampered there!

What is Sweet Chocolate anyway?

Sweet Chocolate is a new campaign by   Johnny Andrean  salon. Actually, they have already launched a similar campaign back then. But, since the customers feedback was so good and even demand for another one, then Johnny Andrean upgrade it and launched the improved formula for Sweet Chocolate.

They divide the event into 2 schedule, morning and afternoon. But all of the bloggers will gather together during lunch. I chose afternoon by the way.

So, we had our lunch together at Palalada restaurant.

And here's the main course that day. I am not really impressed, but hey, it's not beauty-related so ignore! LOL.

Then, we're escorted to Johnny Andrean salon to get the treatment. We were able to choose between treatment or coloring. Since I have to go back fast, I chose treatment (though I want to recolor my hair *sad*).

Surprisingly, JA has special treatment room for  Matrix. The place is really cozy with touch of green.

Introducing Beauty Couture

Hello beauties!

Have you ever heard about Beauty Couture? It's located in Mall Taman Anggrek, to be exact, BC is the first one stop beauty destination in Jakarta! 

So, I was invited to attend the grand opening of BC. But, because I was terribly sick that day (I had typhoid at that time), I chose not to attend that event. Luckily, BC is kindly sending me the vouchers provided for the grand opening, so that I can experience the treatments there.

Very nice, right? The interior is soo girly and I feel like a princess, LOL.

Experiencing Photo Facial at ZAP

Hello all! Are you familiar with facial? Big chance that most of you get facial regularly like once a month or more/ less. But it's not with me, I was so hesitant to get facial due to several reasons. For others, they might be hesitant because of the 'pinching' process. Yes, most facial requires pinching the acne;  both whitehead and blackhead. It is painful and yes, left you with redness everywhere in your face right after. 

In January, I visited ZAP and tried out their latest treatment; Photo Facial. Wow, sounds so sophisticated, right? So, photo facial uses several lights spectrum to stimulate collagen regeneration and repair our skin condition. Unlike conventional facial which only cleanse the outermost layer of the skin and do the extraction of whitehead and blackhead, ZAP photo facial prioritizes the treatment on epidermis of the skin. The benefits of this treatment are as follows:

1. Reduce acne
2. Reduce uneven skin color and dark spots
3. Repair skin damage due to the sun exposure
4. Reduce fine wrinkles
5. Shrink pores
6. Stimulate the regeneration of collagen thus reducing the signs of aging
7. Helps lighten up skin color

There is no pain during the ZAP photo facial treatment. This treatment needs  around 1 hour for each session. Moreover, the result is instant!  Yes, right after the treatment, your face brightens up instantly. Though, the change can be seen after a single treatment, there is a need to repeat the treatment every month so that you will see more satisfying result. It is also advisable to add face peeling treatment 1 week after photo facial to accelerate the process.

Those are ZAP's claim, so what are my real experience?

This treatment is done by a medical doctor, ensuring the safety of the practice. But first, the therapist will help me cleansing my face (at that time I came with make up). So she prepared me for the cleansing by putting on the bandana first.

ZAP Health and Beauty Talkshow

 

Hello everyone, I'm back again, finally! Been so lazy to write and yes, my photo-editing software acted dumb again and again. Few times I've done the photo editing job halfway, but then it crashed! Fufufufu.

So, around two weeks ago, I went to the new ZAP branch in Jl. Wolter Monginsidi, Kebayoran Baru for attending ZAP Health and Beauty Talkshow. The place is kinda hidden anyway, the signboard was covered by the huge tree in front of the store. I almost skip it, LOL.

So, basically, this new ZAP branch is relatively the same with other ZAP branches located in various areas in Jakarta and other regions in Indonesia. What makes it different is, there's a cafe inside! So just in case you bring your plus one (ahem, boyfie or husband, even children), who is not really interested in zapping his/her hairy parts, well now they can wait comfortably here. 

The cafe is really cozy, with few comfy chairs and sofas along with the presence of big, flat TV and the mini bar, where you can get your drinks (or of course they can serve you in your table). The interior is dominated by ZAP green colour, adding the cozy level of the cafe. Unfortunately, this cafe is not smoke-free. Though it's air-conditioned, but the guests are allowed to smoke here (-_-).

I met Mellisa and her friend; Mei Mei (CMIIW) there. ^_^ Besides them, I also met Carnellin and Via who came late due to major traffic jam (well the talkshow itself was started late because everyone was stuck due to a strike in toll roads).

Another Visit to Pond's Institute

Hello everyone! I'm back with another post about my visit to Pond's Institute. For those of you who haven't read or forget about my first time experience in Pond's Institute, you can view it here.

So, I got a voucher for free trial worth until Rp 240.000,00 (around $24) in Pond's Institute. Hehe, I got this almost three months ago, but finally I could manage the time to visit it again with two of my friends (since the voucher is valid for multiple persons).

I called for reservation a day before and went there on last Wednesday with my friends. So, after arriving there, I check for the reservation and we went for the pre-treatment skin check first. Whoaa, we meet again, dear skin check device! LOL.

So, according to the skin check, overall my skin condition is still good with my hydration is still in normal range, elasticity is also good, wrinkle and spots is also still in normal range. But, I have to watch out for my large pores (yes I know it T____T) and my skin evenness. Ooops, I forget that I never do facial again after the GRAZIA Day with POND's and neither do I scrub my face ever since. T___T So the beauty adviser said that the dead cells piled up and making face looks so dull.
