Kérastase & LANCÔME Super Serum Duo Pampering Day

Hello everyone! If you're reading my blog then I bet that you've noticed that I have written some posts regarding stem cells. Two brands mentioned are Kérastase & LANCÔME. Yes, so on July 27, 2013, I was invited to Kérastase & LANCÔME Super Serum Duo Pampering Day at IRWANTEAM Hair Design in Central Park mall along with other 6 beauty bloggers. ^_^

They also launched each brand's latest products; Kérastase Initialiste and LANCÔME Advanced Genefique.

Stem Cells for Beauty: Latest Technology for Hair from Kérastase

Are you familiar with "stem cell" ? 

Well, if you're not, then let's do the high-five! Yeah, because I have (almost) no idea about it. Call me fake-beauty-blogger, but, err... I don't know much about it. Thus, I've done some research. 

So, in a sentence, stem cells are biological cells found in all multicellular organism, that can divide (through mitosis) and differentiate into diverse specialized cell types and can self-renew to produce more stem cells (Gosh, thanks to Wikipedia!). All those words might be confusing, so in short, stem cells are mother cells which have the potential to transform into any type of cell in our body. The highlight is its ability to self-renew or multiply while maintaining its potential to develop into other types of cells. For example, stem cells can transform into the cells of blood, heart, bones, and SKIN.

Indeed, these cells multiply infinitely to regenerate and repair the skin in case of an aggression. They create and maintain life.

These cells are very precious, but also very fragile: the number of stem cells does not decrease with age. It is their functionality which is reduced due to internal and external aggression. It is, therefore, essential to protect stem cells, their environment and their regenerating power.

Kérastase Fusio-Dose Infusion Night

Hi everyone! I guess it's been long since the last time I posted something here. Last Thursday, on 1 November 2012, I got the invitation to Kérastase Fusio-Dose Infusion Night. Actually, I planned to go with my friends, but as usual, in the end, none could make it that night (yeah, sometimes it's annoying when your friends cancelled appointment during the last minute, bla bla bla *insert reasons here*). OK, enough whining. 

There were two events that day, first was the Press Conference and later the Infusion Night. I asked Ci Carnellin about which event that we should attend, and she said we can attend both events since we're media too (bloggers are independent journalist, rite?). So, I tried to attend both of the events, but turned out to be late. (> _ <)

When I arrived, it was only Yessy and her friend in the press room. Hoho, enjoyed a very nice pudding and lemon tea (my favorite!).
