Pastel Mood

On this Friday, I decided to go to my office with pastel: top-to-toe. Haha. Just to complete that look I applied some nail polish to my hands and re-polish my toe nails. The nail polish I used are The Skin Food Nail Vita Apple Green (BL 505) and Rose Bay (PK 213).

FOTD : Flawless Complexion

So, today I decided to wake up earlier than my usual days. Since I wake up 2 hours earlier, I decided to put on more complete steps in make-up. So here it goes like this:
1. After taking a bath and washing my face (of course) with a facial foam, I began using Face Toner (I still use Etude Sea In a Bottle) and pat it to my whole face.

2. I applied a Vaseline Lip Balm to moisture my lip and leave it for the next step.

3. I know this is weird, but I use Lotion/ Emulsion both for night and day. I treat it as moisturizer so I applied it all over my face and neck (I use Etude House Aqua Sherbet Lotion, still ;p )

4. I let it dry for a moment while I chose for my outfit for the day.

5. After the lotion was absorbed to my face, I applied Etude House Eye's Cream Cooling Mint since my eyes was swollen so bad (I don't know why since I had enough sleep hours last night)

6. Then the face ritual begins..

7. I applied Etude House Pore Erasing Peach Base #1 Mint. FYI, This works as primer/ make up base, which functioned to help your make up stays longer. So, if you want a long-lasting make up, it is better to put primer/make-up base before applying foundation/ BB Cream and continue with Powder (if you do). I chose #1 Mint shade because despite of my face tone which is better match with Purple shade, I love how it covered up my blemish redness and made me look more pale (I love being pale, yeah, weird?). Moreover, since I have large pores, this base works damn well covering up those larger pores. I love that! The only thing that I hate about this base is the packaging. It comes in a jar and spatula. It's bothersome, at least for a lazy person like me.

8. After applying base, I applied BB Cream. I used Etude House Shini Star Clear BB Lotion. Bought it online a few days ago. I am a very picky person. And I can say that this BB Cream works best with me so far (I've tried Etude House Precious Minerals All Day Strong, Missha M Perfect Cover, The Skin Food Aloe Vera). What's more? It's cheaper if you compare it among other BB Cream brands. I bought it for IDR 115000 (around $10)

9. There, After that, the last thing I've done to make my complexion looks flawless is apply concealer under my eye. I apply it all around my eyes (seen it on another beauty blog), and it works! (Riska said to me today that the application is good :*)

Brow: mix of Etude House Easy Brow Pencil #1 Dark Brown with some unbranded black eyebrow pencil

Highlight: Etude House Glittery Powder (forgot the exact name, edit this later :p)

Quick Post: ARTDECO Soft Lip Liner Waterproof

 

So, I bought this lip liner about last week and started to use it a few days ago. I'm not a fan of this brand, though the texture of its lipstick is very soft and moisture (so it doesn't get my lips chapped), but the shades don't attract me. So I gave it a try and all that I can say is I love it! Though the texture of the tip is a little bit hard but the color is good and just like the name, it's really waterproof and have a long lasting color.

So, just like the above picture, even after I wash my hand with soap, thoroughly, it still stays there. And at last, I tried to spray my handy clean (it contains alcohol 60%), and wipe it with tissue, it still needs some time to clean it. So I guess it's really waterproof, next time I have to clean it with oil-based make up remover. But, I love the color! Especially since lately I've been a fan of nude lip. 

Re-purchase? Definitely! I use this every time, so I guess it won't last that long on me :p

New Hair

Finally decided to cut my hair! I just have it trimmed a little to get to my previous hair style. As usual, My hair look best in shaggy. Oh, I also cut my bangs, I've been in no-bangs period for quite long time (5 months if I'm not mistaken) because I wanted to try living with no-bangs. Haha, it worked well with me, especially with my wide forehead, no one noticed that (at least no one mocked me :p). But, the shortfall is that it got oily easily since my skin is combination one (it will only gets oily on the T-zone), and I hate that. So, I told the hair stylist to cut my bangs short, just above my eyebrow. I feel fresher now!

Amateur Make Up Project: Ira

Hi!

Finally I have something worth posting (at least for me). Nowadays, I'm starting to be addicted to make up. Since I'm a very frugal person, it is a big shock for every one, including myself that I'm starting to spend my money on make up things. But, I'm not that easy on money, I just found a cheap stall in the traditional market during the weekend near my rent room. At first, I thought that the product are the expired product or worse, fake. But it turns out that all the products sold there are 'last season' products. They're brand new, untouched, still safely sealed. The madam is also willing to open one of the product as tester. Now, I'm a loyal customer there. :) But, I have to keep the price secret.

Right now, I'm blogging from my hometown; Palembang. Yes, I'm spending so time in my hometown before returning to the hell; Jakarta. I'm using my allowable leave in my campus. As usual, whenever I'm in my hometown, I always meet my friends here. This time, I will introduce you to my longest best friend; Ira. We've been friends since we're in elementary school. She's tiny, like a dwarf, hahaha.

So, why I decided to put some make up and teach her a lil bit about that? It's because she has a dull skin as a result of traveling back and forth for her study. She's exposed to sun light and dust very much. So, I already told her a few tips and trick for overcoming the acne and dullness of her skin. Nah, we're both 22 this year, and I think it's time for her to grow up (for real!), so I want her to know how to put on daily make up. So here it is!
