Bioderma Skin Class

Last Saturday, I attent an event held by Bioderma Indonesia at Cafe Aria along with other fellow beauty bloggers. As you know, I already used and reviewed Bioderma Sensibio H2O here. And I love it, it's officially my holy grail cleanser and makeup remover now.

Once entered, we were greeted by PINK everywhere. Indeed, the dress code was also pink and white, resembles the Sensibio H2O itself!

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

Bonjour! I'm having another review and it's a product from France; Bioderma. I was given this product for review purpose from Dermanesia; a company which imports, markets, and distributes French dermatological products in Indonesia.

The product that I review here is Bioderma Sensibio H2O.

Sensitive skin

Sensibio

Sensitive skin makes its presence felt with feelings of overheating and diffuse or localised redness. It easily becomes dehydrated and the subsequent dryness contributes further to its weakness and is accompanied by feelings of tightness.
Depending on the origin, the magnitude and the stage of your cutaneous sensitivity and your specialist’s diagnosis, Sensibio proposes combinations of active ingredients with appropriate textures.

You have a:

The product comes in a clear plastic bottle packaging with shocking pink cap. I find the color combination very cute. Since it's from France, we can find French words along with English translation on the product. The size is quite big, it's 250ml product. Last longer! (cheap me shows up again, eh?)

On the back of the bottle, there is some explanation along with how to use. It's also hypoallergenic (++++), so must be safe even for sensitive skin! FYI, I don't have sensitive skin.

I love the flip-top cap, though I sometimes prefer pump packaging but the cap is really safe. I brought this product a few times already but it never spilled off.

So, LET'S TEST IT!

And in ONLY one swipe.......

voila!

I'm impressed with the performance of this makeup remover! Whoa, though it's water based (unlike any other makeup remover which contains oil and feels really oily on the skin, it does a really GOOD job in removing makeup.

The only product that is hard to be removed (but it removed by this Sensibio in the end) is Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto WATERPROOF Mascara.

In conclusion, this makeup remover does such a good job in spite of being water-based product. It can even removes the waterproof product though it needs more effort, but it's clean. Moreover, it doesn't cause me any irritation after using it (usually I experience a little redness and irritation after cleansing my makeup with makeup remover).

What I love the most? The feeling after! Since it's a water-based product, my skin left with a really soft and smooth feeling. No more sticky feeling, no more oil left. It feels like just having water on your skin, only this water cleanse your face thoroughly (but doesn't irritate).

I don't know much about the price since it's not officially available yet in Indonesia. But, I heard some of Indonesians buy this in Singapore or Hong Kong. See? The fame is already here, so let's hope that it will be available real SOON. This is because I really love this. I tried this on my friends and mom, and ALL of them LOVE it.

I proudly say that this is my holy grail makeup remover.

Definitely will purchase this after mine has ran out.

You can visit Bioderma Indonesia facebook page here and twitter @Bioderma_ID
to get more updates about the product.

Bye and don't forget to cleanse your face after a long day!

Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream SPF 30/ PA++

Hello lovelies~ I'm back with another review of Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream. This product was sent to me for review purpose from Lioele Indonesia.

Before I got this, actually I was already familiar with this brand as my friends keep bragging about the quality of this BB Cream. Well, I'm curious and lucky enough to try this out. Let's see!

That's the explanation from Lioele about this BB Cream. It says that it has whitening and wrinkle care protection, plus it has yogurt inside (actually I LOVE yogurt so much!). Muihihihi.

SkinLiFE Face Lotion

Konnichiwa~!
Ahahaha, yesterday I already share to you the review of SkinLiFE Foaming Facial Wash; beauty product from Japanese brand named COW BRAND. Now, it's time to share another SkinLiFE product which is Face Lotion.

Do you know that Japanese use the term "lotion" for what we, Indonesians, and maybe others, call as "toner"?

The difference might be confusing, luckily I already knew this since I learn about Chizu Saeki Lotion Mask Method. So, for those of you who are still confused, every time you see products with "lotion" and comes from Japan (Japanese brand or made in Japan), it's actually liquid, and it's same with toner. Hope it helps~

Pop! Your KPop IBB MakeUp Challenge

Hello everyone!~

Do you know that Indonesian Beauty Blogger (IBB) is having a Make Up Challenge with the theme "Pop Your Kpop!" ?

Since the sponsor is Lioele, I tried my best to create a makeup look inspired by Tia from Chocolat; Lioele's brand ambassador! What a coincidence, my name is exactly the same with her! Teehee, but she's like really beautiful (unlike me huahaahahaha).

Thoughts and Ramblings

Hello, it has been long since I post about things which are not beauty-related. I miss writing of my random thoughts and I will do it again after being 'hidden' all these years.

WARNING: unlike any other beauty posts, this post will contain much more words than pictures.

So, I've been a very-closed person back then. Used to be so open, so cheerful like during senior high until junior year in college. But snap! Something happened. Not necessarily something which broke me down, no. It's just another punch in the face which finally knocked me down because I ran out of energy. I was never the same after that. I started to build my own walls in order to protect myself from being hurt.

And I remember what my friend; Jenni said. Well, just like any other animal with hard shell, they are so fragile inside. And so are people. And so is me. I was really, really terrified by the idea of opening up to others. Because open up means letting others know your weaknesses and fears. And I couldn't bear the pain for the second time. Once was more than enough to brought me down.

And no, I'm not talking about person. I'm talking about myself and the idea of being hurt.

I was so lost and I was looking for myself. I want to find myself.

Yes, more than 20 years of breathing and I haven't find myself yet.

I want to find myself and I want to find what I have to do with my life.

I did crazy, silly, even dangerous things just to find myself. I have to say I was lucky not to fall to the dark side of the world. I knew how to stop. That's what I am proud of myself.

One of the crazy things I've done is traveling alone. Not so crazy, eh? But at least it's crazy for the people surround me. When they knew that I traveled alone, or going to travel alone they said like "Are you crazy?" or "You could ended up being raped" and so many horrible things and prophecies follow..

But I'm not, and I found a piece of myself there. In traveling. In having my own solo journey. Meeting strangers I never thought I could met. Sleeping in someone else's house through internet. Or even having a deep talk about life and beliefs with strangers. I am blessed.

Life's much better after that. And now, I find myself a lot of better than before. It's like finally coming out a very dark, long cave after years of isolation. I find a light, so bright that I could see properly. But though I squint, I slowly open my eyes and I can see a bit of world now. I will continue to open my eyes until I can see it all clearly.

And yes, I'll write about this kind of things regularly. Thoughts and feelings.

Till then, bye.

Biotherm Beauty Class with Carnellin

Hello all! Sorry for taking such a long time to post about this beauty class, since I was away in my hometown for Ied Mubarak holiday.

This beauty class was held last month in collaboration of Biotherm and Carnellin. For those of you who wonder who is Carnellin, she is one of beauty bloggers in Indonesia, one of some beauty bloggers that I love anyway. She often share about product reviews from various beauty brands and lately started to upload more vlogs. Visit her beauty blog here.

So, I was lucky to win the invitation from her since I also posted about the event previously here.

So actually, the above picture is Biotherm's latest product line; Blue Therapy. It helps with aging problems like wrinkles, dark spots, and improve firmness.

The beauty class was held in Beauty Lounge in Sogo Central Park. The audience were readers and bloggers. I was really happy to meet other fellow bloggers like Ci Mei, Ci Hanny, and Jesslyn.

The highlight of the day was Biotherm's latest product line; Blue Therapy. I didn't try it on since it is addressed to aging women. Hehe.

And this is the best selling product range from Biotherm; Aquasource. I remembered when I tried this on 1-2 years ago, the texture is really lightweight, doesn't feel sticky at all, it reminded me of water and gel.

And since there were few men who actually attended this beauty class, of course Biotherm has its own men range as follows.

And I'm quite surprised with variety of product lines they have for men. They have anti-aging,  oily skin solution, whitening range, even BB Cream!

I have to admit that I fall in love with Biotherm's packaging. And not to forget that I tried that men BB cream on and it's really good indeed! Unlike any other men's product, it has no "men" scent which kinda annoying for me (and some other women). Nice, almost neutral scent, with decent coverage for daily usage.

I also tried these two perfume. The blue one matched with the latest range from Biotherm, which inspired by the sea. And the lime-to-yellow one was said to be Carnellin's favorite since it has vitamin E infused! Yes, so you got double benefits with this eau de toilette. The smell's really nice too.

And surprisingly enough, Biotherm has Make Up Base, BB Cream, and..... the latest obsession of me and (I bet) the rest of women in the world, CC Cream!!!

Yay, now I'm seriously excited.

Moreover, Biotherm has 5 kinds of CC Cream while other brands usually only have one-shade-fits-all product! I mentioned 5 because they actually sell 5 kinds of CC Cream. But, due to the our Indonesian FDA matters, so far they can only provide us with 4 different shades.

It's purple (evenness), white (bright), orange (glow), and blue (luminous). The other one is green, the manager said.

And here's what it looks like on my hand (Swatch):

So the class is fun, it's not that formal with all the talks and no experience of trying.

And I would also share to you another product that I love after trying it out at that time.
Biotherm Firm Corrector

Experiencing flabby arms and thighs? Nah, I often being teased by my mom because I have a very flabby arms -_-

After being told by Carnellin that this product actually can help to improve skin firmness instantly, I was tempted to try. So I poke a small amount of the cream and put it on my flabby arms. The texture is really thick and yes, it instantly change your flabby arms! Though it wasn't significant but yes, I can notice the change. And it has sparkly effect too, LOL.

I also got the facial treatment and the BA chose this range for me since I experienced some acne and have oily T-zone.

My facial picture spam!!!

with my Rachel K CC Cream on
cleansing
Massage~

no makeup after facial!
only with CC Cream on, bright one :)
And here are the audience that day.

Thank you Carnellin and Biotherm Indonesia for such a nice experience :)
